Below we would like to inform you about the type, scope and purpose of processing personal data on our website.

Contact Form

Data transmitted via the contact form will be stored including your contact data in order to be able to process your request or to be available for follow-up questions. These data will not be passed on without your consent. The data entered in the contact form will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). A revocation of your given consent is possible at any time. An informal notification by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. Data transmitted via the contact form remains on our side until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to its storage or until there is no longer any need to store the data. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Newsletter

To send our newsletter we need an e-mail address from you. A verification of the given e-mail address is necessary and the subscription of the newsletter must be agreed to. Additional data will not be collected. The data will be used exclusively for sending the newsletter. The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). A revocation of your given consent is possible at any time. For the revocation an informal message by e-mail is sufficient or you unsubscribe via the “unsubscribe”-link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out shall not be affected by the revocation. Data submitted to set up the subscription will be deleted in case of cancellation. Should this data have been transmitted to us for other purposes and elsewhere, it will remain with us. For sending the newsletter we use MailChimp. Provider is The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA. With this service we can organize and analyze the newsletter distribution. The data you enter to subscribe to the newsletter, such as your e-mail address, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. Sending a newsletter with MailChimp allows us to analyze the behavior of the newsletter recipient The analysis shows, among other things, how many recipients have opened their newsletter and with what frequency links in the newsletter were clicked. MailChimp supports conversion tracking to analyze whether a previously defined action, such as a registration, has been performed after clicking on a link. Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR). A revocation of your given consent is possible at any time. For the revocation an informal message by e-mail is sufficient or you unsubscribe via the “unsubscribe”-link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out shall not be affected by the revocation. If you do not wish to receive analysis by MailChimp, do not subscribe to the newsletter or unsubscribe from the newsletter if you already subscribed. ab. To unsubscribe, simply send us an informal e-mail or use the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. This website uses cookies, which are stored by the browser on your device and which contain certain settings for using the website (e.g. for the current session). Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Your IP address will, however, be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in very exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your web browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google.

We use Google Analytics for the purpose of analysing interest in our website on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, because we have a legitimate interest in improving the reach and effectiveness of our online offering.

Google Forms und Google Drive

To better understand the needs of our customers, we occasionally conduct online surveys. For this we use the services of Google Forms. The data collected with a Google Forms form is stored on a cloud storage provided by Google for us, “Google Drive”. Google Fonts

We integrate the fonts (“Google Fonts”) of the provider Google, whereby the users’ data is used solely for the purpose of displaying the fonts in the users’ browser. The integration is based on our legitimate interests in a technically secure, maintenance-free and efficient use of fonts, their uniform presentation and taking into account possible license restrictions for their integration. Hotjar

We use Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and to optimize the offer on this website. Hotjar’s technology helps us gain a better understanding of our users’ experiences (e.g. how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click, what they like and don’t like, etc.) and this helps us to tailor our offering to our users’ feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect information about our users’ behavior and about their end devices (in particular, IP address of the device (only collected and stored in anonymous form), screen size, device type (Unique Device Identifiers), information about the browser used, location (country only), language preferred to view our website).
